ABOUT
I earned my Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2019 after completing a Bachelor of Commerce with distinction, majoring in finance and minoring in economics. This strong foundation in finance and economics shapes my legal practice, which focuses on matters involving businesses, farms, complex investments, and high-conflict situations.

I have extensive experience handling high-conflict and protracted litigation on all issues of parenting, support, property division, and personal protection. Many of my cases involve complex corporate structures, large farming operations, and significant investment portfolios, where financial sophistication and strategic planning are critical.

Beyond litigation, I specialize in preparing family trusts, prenuptial and cohabitation agreements, and structuring family businesses to protect wealth and provide clarity for families and business owners. My approach combines practical legal advice with a deep understanding of financial and business dynamics, making me a trusted advisor for clients with intricate personal and commercial interests.

While I emphasize negotiated, out-of-court resolutions, I am fully prepared to litigate when necessary. I stay current in my field through continuing education, active involvement with the Canadian Bar Association, and by teaching Family Law at Grant MacEwan University. I am also committed to access to justice, demonstrated through past volunteer work with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre and contributions to LawNow magazine.

My goal is to help individuals navigate what can be a stressful life transition, ensuring they fully understand their legal position and options for resolution.
Outside of work, I enjoy rock climbing, backpacking, hiking, biking, soccer, cooking, travel, and gardening.
